We will be visiting the AGE of Central Texas. This is a great opportunity to help our community’s seniors and have a good time. We will be supporting a variety of events. This is the only event we’ll do this year that satisfies the Helping (Red Paw) badge requirement to visit with elders in the community.
The events start at 10:30 AM – meet at the park across from the AGE Center at 475 Round Rock West Drive #120, Round Rock, TX 78681.
Starting at 10:30, the scouts will help scatter Easter eggs. At 11, there will be an Easter egg hunt for younger kids (5 & under), and at 11:20, there will be a second hunt for the 6 and 7 year-olds. Scouts in attendance are encouraged to participate in the Easter egg hunt.
Scouts that prefer not to participate in the Easter egg hunt can arrive at 11:30, at which time the seniors and the scouts will head back to the AGE Center building and have lunch together inside. Scouts will need to bring a bag lunch and a drink. Scouts wishing to complete the requirement to visit with local elders should be at the AGE Center by 11:30.
After lunch, the scouts and the elders of AGE will play Bingo. The event should be over by 2PM.
All scouts attending should wear their uniform and bring a bag lunch.
