For our last campout of the year, we will be camping at Russell Park, which is alongside Lake Georgetown, right by Jim Hogg where we were back in April! Details:
WHERE: Russell Park (at Lake Georgetown)
COST: Suggested payment is $20 per person, but we are offering three options ($10, $20, and $25) to allow families to pay what they can. If you intend to bring your own food, the cost is $10 per family. Sign up using the link below.
ABOUT:Located on the north side of Lake Georgetown, Russell is where we held a large regional campout (Hullabaloo) back in 2018. We tried to go here back in 2022 but had to reschedule due to an unexpected park closure. Happy to get the opportunity to visit again!
FACILITIES: We will be at sites 14,15, 17,18 and Group Site 3, as our camp kitchen. Water is available at all sites, electricity is available at the group shelter for those who need it. If you have a need for electricity (CPAP machine, etc) please note as much in your registration and plan to bring an extension cord. The closest bathrooms have showers.
