WHERE: Palmetto State Park, Group Area
ABOUT: Palmetto State Park is a beautiful small state park just outside of Gonzales, named after the dwarf palmettos common to the area. We will be staying at the group campsite, with parking nearby. More details will be sent out as we get closer with regards to planned activities and anything scouts might want/need to bring.
FACILITIES: Water is available at the campsite but no electricity, so please plan accordingly. The closest restroom has showers but it is across a low water crossing, so in the event of significant rainfall it may not be readily accessible. There is a second restroom on the same side of the river as our campsite, but it does not have a shower.
CONTACT: Reach out to Mark or Joe with any questions you might have!
