ABOUT: Brownsea Training Camp (BTC) is the Baden-Powell Service Association’s (BPSA) “basic training” for adult leaders and Rover Scouts; all leaders should attend one during their first year. During the course, you will receive training in the BPSA’s core mission and policies and each of the program’s four sections, leaving you better prepared to work within your BPSA scout group. For Rovers who do not already have it, the event will provide you opportunities to practice a number of scoutcraft skills and allow you to leave Brownsea with your Tenderfoot badge proudly in-hand (or sewn on). Most importantly, the event is a great chance to make new Scout friends!
FACILITIES: The group site has water but no electricity, please plan accordingly. Restrooms are nearby (walking distance), with a larger restroom with showers about a 15 minute walk away.
